Hi,
On my laptop, I've been trying to sign onto yahoo mail (and every yahoo service basically) but it won't let me. I go to the sign in page, and then it flickers and reloads repeatably. I can't click on anything or type, it just keeps reloading. Do you know what I mean? It only does it on my laptop though (I'm currently on my mom's computer). What's wrong?
This has been going on for at least a week. Do I have a virus or spyware? My scanner says that I don't. If you do think it's a virus/spyware, can you recommend any good free scanners?
Thanks.

What scanner do you have that tells you you don't have spyware? You probably don't have a virus, but you do have spyware. That comes just from logging onto the internet. EVERYone has spyware. And you don't just scan for spyware, you find it and delete it.
Yahoo does have problems, that could be a big part of it, but you definitely need to get rid of spyware. Get SpyBot Search %26 Destroy to safely remove spyware. Best of all, it’s free. After installing it, immunize the computer against over 30,000 known pieces of spyware. Then run a full bot check and remove everything it finds using the Fix Selected Problems tab. Keep it updated and run it weekly to keep your computer free of this stuff. Then get Ad-Aware also from download.com and run it the first time doing a Full System Scan. Thereafter, run a Smart Scan daily.

Keep them both updated and use them.
