Try "The Gimp", closest thing to photoshop and free.

Photoshop has a free trial, but I just use Gimp so I don't have to deal with it expiring.

Fork out the bones for photoshop, and forget the free junk versions that try to be like it.

my version costs a hell of a lot, but you know its worth every dime i have in it. you should see the magic that can be worked with it compared to the gimp and all those free ones. there is no comparison if you want to do some serious editing.

if you are just a hobbyist, then the free ones should be fine, I do this stuff for people on the side, so i needed the real deal.

At 25, to 200 a pop, it sure does not take long to pay its self off, and you can easily charge amounts like that if you have the skills. there are thousands and thousands of tutorials avail for it as well..

you can save by buying it on ebay, and if you are crafty enough, you can find it online downloadable and free, but im not into that scene. It is possilbe though. I did try it before i bought it, a well as gimp, and all kinds of others, none of them even came close!

Worth the money. Ask for it for christmas..lol
