There are a lot (endless really) amount of Texas Holdem poker tournaments out there. If you're looking for the bigger tournaments, there are the usual like WSOP, WPT, EPT and so on. Regarding online tournaments, the list is a little shorter.

One recent major online tournament is the new 888.com World Poker Crown. The WPC gives away $3 million in prizes and $1 million for first prize. The final event is actually taking place this week on May 8th. You can watch it live here http://wpc.888.com/wpc/

They are also offering 2008 WSOP qualifiers and other stuff too so it's worth a visit.
